Omega Speedmaster CK2915: The First Speedmaster in Unprecedented Detail

CK2915 (Photo from Revolution Watch)
The Omega Speedmaster CK2915 is the first and rarest Speedmaster ever made—launched in 1957 and powered by the legendary Caliber 321. Known as the original ‘Broad Arrow’ Speedmaster, the CK2915 introduced key design features like the external tachymeter bezel and applied Omega logo. Produced in extremely low numbers across references 2915-1, 2915-2, and 2915-3, it set the blueprint for the Moonwatch legacy. With its distinctive dial fonts, vintage steel bezel, and straight-lug case made by Huguenin Frères, the CK2915 is a grail for collectors of vintage chronographs. Often compared to the Rodania Geometer for its early dial layout influence, the Speedmaster 2915 remains one of the most important chronographs in watch history.

IWC Ingenieur SL Reference 1832 “Jumbo”: A Detailed History and Technical Guide

The IWC Ingenieur SL Ref. 1832 (“Jumbo”) is the rarest member of Gérald Genta’s 1970s integrated-steel sports watch lineage—launched in 1976, overbuilt with a soft-iron anti-magnetic cage (~80,000 A/m / ~1,000 gauss) and powered by IWC’s in-house Cal. 8541ES (Pellaton winding, hacking seconds). Produced in very small numbers (often cited under 1,000 total across variants), it failed commercially at the time—but today its extreme scarcity, Genta design pedigree, and tool-watch engineering make it a serious collector target.

Rolex Country Codes
